Poetry in Life

The first lines of poetry I spoke to my new son were from William Wordsworth: "My heart leaps up when I behold a rainbow in the sky."

I'm assuming you plan these things beforehand? And why no Lear this time?

  2. I did also welcome him to this great stage of fools, but I guess my outlook on existence has improved, where I'd rather mark the moment with Wordsworth. I also told him about "trailing clouds of glory."

  3. His first book was the same as Fox's, fyi. It was On the Day You Were Born. It seemed fitting.
